The Hunter Valley is well known for its wineries, restaurants and concerts, which are not generally family friendly. However, there are many attractions and events that are family friendly. We’ve put together some information* to help families plan a trip to the Hunter Valley.

If you find yourself in the Hunter Valley, and are still looking for some ideas, a visit to the Visitor Centre might be in order.

  • Children (3-15 years) $11.00
  • Concession $17
  • Family pass $55.00 (2 Adults + 2 Children)—extra children $9

There are also free bbqs for use in the picnic area.

Free Art Sundays for All Ages: Children and their families are welcome for free art activities every Sunday from 11am–1pm. Bookings not required and all materials are supplied.
